The Sekuens Agency officially presented yesterday the ‘Doing Business in Asturias Guide’, a particularly useful tool for all those persons or entities interested in investing in the Principality. The document, prepared by the law firm Ontier, summarises the main regulatory aspects affecting investments in Asturias. The Guide is useful not only for those investors who are approaching the national and regional regulatory environment for the first time, but also for those who want to learn more about the most relevant aspects of establishing and developing a company in our region.

The presentation of this Guide took place yesterday, Wednesday 24 July, in the framework of a formal event held at Ontier’s office in Oviedo, led by David González, Executive Director of Sekuens Agency, and Carlos Ranera, Managing Partner of Ontier Norte, accompanied by Ignacio Arce Orejas, senior lawyer in the Corporate and M&A area and coordinator of Ontier’s work.

A key compilation to understand the Asturian socio-business and legislative ecosystem

Through 5 chapters and 133 pages, the Guide includes key information on company incorporation, tax regulations, labour legislation, environmental aspects and incentives available for investment, among other issues.

‘We are very proud to present the first ‘Doing Business in Asturias Guide’, which reflects our commitment to the economic development of Asturias and our support for investors seeking to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Principality’, said Carlos Ranera, while David González expressed his confidence “that this publication will be the essential reference for any investor interested in starting activities in Asturias”.

The Guide is available in Spanish and English and can be consulted on the website of ‘Invest in Asturias’, the Sekuens Agency’s programme created with the aim of channelling each business project in an optimal way and generating a suitable climate for investment in Asturias.
